The large size Santos Galbee W20058C4, an updated version of Cartier's premiere wristwatch design, pays homage to its 1904 predecessor with bold styling and vintage details. The curved square brushed steel case is featured on a smooth and fluid brushed steel bracelet with 18 karat gold accents. Black Roman numerals and blued steel sword hands stand out against the white guilloché dial, which is capped with an antireflective sapphire crystal and framed by an 18 karat yellow gold bezel. I bought this overseas in 2001. It keeps time perfectly and is such an elegant piece I don't wear anything else. It's taken me this long to even begin considering buying anything else. The design, function and execution are superb. It is a little susceptible to scratches - the gold is the softer 18 kt.
